Sin dal 1670 la famiglia Negro coltiva vigneti sulle colline del Roero, dedicando i propri vini ai prestigiosi vitigni autoctoni.
Col tempo l’azienda cresce mantenendo la conduzione familiare: ad affiancare Giovanni Negro vi sono la moglie Maria Elisa ed i quattro figli, Gabriele, Angelo, Emanuela e Giuseppe, che sposano con entusiasmo la stessa filosofia. L’azienda può oggi contare su circa 70 ettari di vigneto, distribuiti tra la storica Cascina Perdaudin in Monteu Roero, la cascina San Vittore in Canale, la cascina Basarin in Neive e la Cascina Baudana, nel comune di Serralunga d’Alba. La produzione media annuale è di circa 430.000 bottiglie di cui il 45% esportato in 25 Paesi nel mondo.
Dal 2023 l’azienda Angelo Negro si avvale della certificazione Equalitas con la quale condivide l’obiettivo di promuovere la sostenibilità delle filiere agroalimentari e del vino in primis, attraverso una visione ed un approccio che unisca le istanze dell’impresa stessa, della società e del mercato.

Since 1670 the Negro family has been cultivating vineyards on the Roero hills, fully interpreting the potential of this corner of Piedmont, dedicating its wines to prestigious native grape varieties, each with its own identity.
Angelo Negro, also known as “Angelin”, was born at the beginning of the 20th century.
At first the means were limited, the wine production was reduced to a few demijohns, but the tenacity and the spirit of sacrifice paid off when his son Giovanni decided to follow the fatherly footsteps.
Over time the winery grew, maintaining the family management: Giovanni Negro’s wife Maria Elisa and their four children, Gabriele, Angelo, Emanuela and Giuseppe, who enthusiastically embrace the same philosophy, work tirelessly alongside him.
The winery can now count on 70 hectares of vineyards, distributed between the historic Cascina Perdaudin in Monteu Roero, the Cascina San Vittore in Canale, the Cascina Basarin in Neive and the Cascina Baudana, in the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba. The average annual production is around 430,000 bottles.
Since 2023 the company Angelo Negro uses the Equalitas certification with which it shares the objective of promoting the sustainability of the food and wine supply chains, through a vision and an approach that combines the demands of the company itself, of the society and the market.
